Did You Weekend is an online magazine offering high-quality reviews and articles about places where people and families can “weekend”. Driving to Vermont from New York? We’ve got tons of things you can do, listed right here on our site. Don’t feel like heading out more than a few dozen miles? Find your state and check out what’s going on there.

We also accept article submissions from people who have been to those “out of the way” places, and want to share their experiences. If you’re interested in sending us your story, check out the Frequently Asked Questions below and then head over to our Write For Us! area where you can submit your article, complete with photos and everything!

Q: I have an idea for an article or a video. Who do I contact?

A: You can submit your article on our Write For Us! form, or you can email us the link to your video.

Q: If I submit an article, do I own the copyright?

A: You do, however we ask that you do not publish the article anywhere else online, and not in print for 1 year after we publish it here. You will always receive full credit (with your name in lights) here on our site, along with a link to your own site if you have one.

Q: I own a place I think people would be interested in visiting. Can I be on your web site and does it cost?

A: In 2010, we began to offer regular advertising packages (on our sidebar) and we accept invitations to write full fledged reviews of your establishment. If you’d just like to let us know about your place, that’s cool too – just email us.

Q: I want to advertise on your site. What are your rates and who do I contact?

A: Drop us an email and we’ll have our advertising manager get back to you with full details.
