The Noodle House

Noodle House

New Haven, Connecticut

The Noodle House on York Street in New Haven, Connecticut is one of the best places I have ever eaten at.

The food is a mix of Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. The prices are cheap and the portions are huge. I think the most expensive thing on the menu (which by the way offers a large selection) is $7.50. They also offer a delicious drink called bubble tea—a tea that has round, black tapioca pearls at the bottom. The food almost always comes to you within 5 to 10 minutes after you order and it is steaming hot. The restaurant itself is 2 floors; you will be seated immediately even if the place is packed which it usually is. It is very casual as it is a college favorite. Yale University is literally across the street and students from the surrounding universities (University of New Haven, University of Bridgeport) flock to it. During warmer weather you can sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of New Haven.
