The Coca-Cola museum, located in Atlanta Georgia, is a great way to spend a few hours. If you love coke, and even if you don’t, this museum is fascinating. Parts of the museum are like stepping back in time. You will see Coke’s influence on many era’s as well as different cultures.
You can watch short films to see how coke was created and how it has evolved throughout the years. There is also a wonderful 4-D theater. This is a 3-D movie with moving seats. You will feel like you are part of the movie. Kids love this!
My children’s favorite part of the museum is the taste testing (this is included in your ticket price). There are over sixty Coke products from all over the world here to taste test. It is amazing to see how much Coke differs from say here in Atlanta to France and many other places.
There is a fully functioning bottling line everyone will enjoy. Here you see what it takes to get the product from the line to the bottles and ready to ship. This is a hands-on experience all ages will enjoy. You will also receive a free 8-ounce bottle of Coca-Cola to take with you.
The gift shop, and one of my favorite parts of the museum, has many antique-looking coke products. They really have a little of everything here. You can buy furniture items, clothes, toys, glasses, and even playing cards. The best part of this store are their prices. Everything I have gotten in this store has been at a great price.
The museum is open 362 days a year and is only closed on Easter, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. They are open from 10AM until 6PM. Ticket prices for an adult is $15. Tickets for children ages 3-12 cost $13. Children under two will get in free with a paying adult. Seniors’ (65+) tickets cost $10. Tickets include all attractions in the museum. You can buy tickets online or at the walk-up ticket window when you arrive.
