200 Fifth Ave, New York, NY
Visit New York, and one question always surfaces: Where do we eat? Actually, where do we eat at reasonable prices? Because there’s New York City good prices, and there’s the rest of the world good prices. We’re talking about rest of the world good prices. It’s called eating on the cheap in New York City.
Enter, Eataly.
Located in midtown Manhattan on Fifth Avenue is the Eataly. The coolest place I’ve ever seen! The place is huge, and is aisle upon aisle of one cool place to eat after the other. Pastas, cheeses, meats, desserts, fish, salamis, pizzas. It is all here, under one roof, and there is something for everyone. And the best part is your party can all order from different restautants and meet in one common area and dine on a smorgasbord of yummies.
The food here is absolutely spectacular. It is European style, with row upon row of eateries, all gourmet, and generally tables scattered throughout where you eat. Seating is limited, but that’s ok, because it adds to the European ambiance..
Prices are not really cheap compared to “elsewhere outside of NY” prices. But it is far more reasonable than the posh tourist trap you may find yourself in.
The food here, though, is absolutely fantastic, and there is such a wide choice to choose from.
Next time you’re in New York, put the Eataly on your list of places to go.

I have eaten at Eataly, and I concur. It is something to behold. If you are phobic of lots of people in one place, I recommend you stay away. If you are a foodie like me, it is like the clouds parted and God sent the coordinates to heaven on earth. I would love to visit it next time, on my own, at my leisure so that I may take full advantage of the experience being offered.
